Vandaag ga ik jullie vertellen hoe je heel snel en simpel een leuk project met tunisch haken kunt maken in de entrelac techniek. Met deze techniek kun je heel veel en je hebt er geen speciale lange haaknaald voor nodig.
Entrelac komt van het Franse woord entrelacer, wat vlechten betekent. Als je entrelac zou breien dan lijkt het inderdaad op vlechtwerk. Met tunisch haken is dit effect echter minder.
Met Tunisch entrelac haken, maak je banen of rondes kleine vierkantjes. Het is allemaal begonnen met de banen. Het patroon waarmee ik heb geleerd om rond te haken, staat nog steeds op Ravelry ( https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/trip-around-the-world-throw ). Met deze techniek heb ik mijn Sterrendeken van Muis, mijn allereerste patroon, gemaakt.
Het is een techniek waarmee je gelijk blokken aan elkaar kunt haken, waarvan ik in meerdere projecten gebruik van heb gemaakt. Dat is dan ook de reden dat ik met deze techniek nu al meteen ter sprake breng.
Op de Tutorial pagina vinden jullie een tutorial voor entrelac in het rond, want als je deze techniek beheerst kun je al gauw aan de slag met verschillende van mijn patronen zoals de Sterrendeken en de Meadow Star Cal. Je kunt ook C2C werken. Als je dat doet kun je ook gebruik maken van verschillende maten blokken, zoals in mijn Discover the Season. Dit laatste heb ik ook nog met het Team MarKiDini gedaan.
De standaard entrelac vierkantjes zijn 5 steken (7 lussen) bij 5 toeren. Je kunt deze maat ook eenvoudig aanpassen. Het sterrenkussen is gemaakt met blokjes van 3 steken (5 lussen) bij 3 toeren. Maar je kunt ook blokjes maken van 10 steken (12 lussen) bij 10 toeren.
Uitleg steken/lussen
Als je naar tunisch haakwerk kijkt zie je verticale stokjes dit zijn de steken, maar om dat aantal steken te krijgen moet je ALTIJD 2 extra lussen hebben. Die 2 lussen zijn de kantsteken (net als bij breien). Dus om 5 steken te krijgen moet je 7 lussen op de naald hebben.

Today I am going to tell you how to make quick and nice project with the entrelac technique. You can do a lot with this technique and you don’t need a special long hook for it.
Entrelac comes from the French word ‘Entrelacer’ that means braiding. If you would knit entrelac then it looks exactly like that. However not so much in tunisian crochet.
Using Entrelac, you can create long rows or rounds of small squares. It all started with lanes. The pattern that I learned entrelac from, is still available on Ravelry ( https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/trip-around-the-world-throw ). I used this technique to create my Starblanket of Muis, my first design.
This technique can be used to connect while you crochet, which I used in several patterns. This is the reason that I introduce you this technique right now.
On the tutorial page you will find a tutorial for entrelac in the round, because once you know how to work with this technique, you can start with the Starblanket or the Meadow Star Cal. You can also work C2C with this technique. If you use that you can also create different sizes of the blocks/squares, like my Discover the Seasons blanket. This technique is also used in the Cal I created with Team MarKiDini.
The standard entrelac is in squares of 5 stitches (7 loops) by 5 rows. You can adjust this size very easily. The Starpillow is made with 3 stitches (5 loops) by 3 rows. But you could increase the squares into 10 stitches(12 loops) by 10 rows.
Explanation Stitches/rows
If you look closely to Tunisian crochet you will see vertical bars in the front of your work. These bars are the stitches, but to get this number of stitches you need to add 2 extra loops. Those 2 extra loops are the border stitches (just like knitting). So creat 5 stitches you need to have 5 loops on the hook.
